LifeArc
"A medical research charity accelerating breakthroughs for rare diseases and global health challenges"
About LifeArc
LifeArc is a self-funded medical research charity that bridges the gap between scientific discovery and patient treatment. The organisation provides funding, scientific expertise and partnership support to accelerate research in rare diseases and global health. With 30 years of experience in drug development, diagnostics and translational science, LifeArc focuses on medical challenges often overlooked due to complexity or high risk. Through targeted Translational Challenges, LifeArc addresses motor neuron disease, rare respiratory conditions, childhood cancer and infectious diseases. The charity works with researchers, clinicians and patient communities to remove barriers preventing discoveries from reaching those who need them, combining scientific capability with venture investment and collaborative partnerships.
