About Our Future Health

Our Future Health recruits volunteers across the UK to build the world's most detailed picture of population health. By bringing together health data, blood samples, and lifestyle information from up to five million people, the programme creates a resource researchers can use to discover how diseases begin and progress in different populations. The programme addresses a fundamental gap in healthcare. Too often, diseases are detected only when symptoms appear. Our Future Health enables researchers to identify patterns earlier, develop better prevention strategies, and create treatments that work for people from all backgrounds. Volunteers receive health information including blood pressure readings and future disease risk assessments.
