The Francis Crick Institute
"A biomedical discovery institute understanding how living things work to improve human health."
About The Francis Crick Institute
The Francis Crick Institute carries out world class biomedical research to understand the fundamental biology of health and disease. Scientists and students work across disciplines, exploring biology from molecules through cells to entire organisms, breaking down traditional boundaries between fields to tackle complex questions. The institute drives benefits for human health by improving treatment, diagnosis and prevention of disease while creating economic opportunities for the UK. More than 2,000 staff and students from around 120 nationalities collaborate in a purpose built facility in central London, supported by six founding partners including the Medical Research Council, Cancer Research UK and Wellcome.
