Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of drug delivery systems. These duties will be performed both on a laboratory and production scale
- Assist in the functioning of the formulation laboratory and manufacturing areas, which will include calibration of equipment and maintaining quality systems
- Assisting Formulation Scientist(s) in the development of drug delivery systems. These duties will range from laboratory to production scale
- Maintaining accurate records of experiments
- Maintenance of Formulation Laboratory and Formulation Manufacturing areas to required standard
- Maintaining quality systems within the department
- Communicating with other departments
- Calibration/Qualification of equipment
- Performing duties by following written instructions in the form of SOPs and verbal instructions from Senior Formulation Technician(s) and/or Formulation Scientist(s)
- To carry out other activities as assigned by Senior Management
Your Skills and Experience
Do you have?
- Education to GCSE level or equivalent
- ‘A level’ qualification would be desirable
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment (desirable but not essential)
- Previous experience working within the Pharmaceutical Industry is preferred

- Able to work effectively in a team
- Able to demonstrate good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills
- Able to handle stressful situations while maintaining an even disposition
- Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
